Project archive
Keep a finished master at its original resolution and frame rate in a fraction of the space. It is the slow, exact option: nothing is scaled, and a file counts as archived only when every check passes.
What the archive keeps

Done means every check passed
- HEVC in the expected tag, same size, same frame count, same frame rate.
- Duration within one frame, same start timecode and reel name.
- Audio stream count, channels and sample rate equal.
- Colour tags and HDR10 metadata equal to the source.
- The file decodes to the end with no decoder messages.
- A quality floor of VMAF 95 on every one of up to five sampled ten-second segments.
If any check fails, the job fails, nothing is offered, and you are not charged.
Do not delete originals on the strength of this alone
An archive is a smaller copy that passed our checks, not a replacement you have inspected. Open it, play it in your editing app, and keep the original until you are satisfied. Treat deleting source footage as your decision, not ours.
What is refused
- Camera RAW formats such as BRAW, ARRIRAW, ProRes RAW, REDCODE and CinemaDNG. Keep the original.
- Anything with an alpha channel.
A refused file is reported plainly and never charged.
Limits on this page
Each file can be up to 5 GB on the web. Masters larger than that, and whole-project batches with a verified delete step, are handled in team plans.
