SqueezeReel

YK TECH INC

Terms of Service

Effective October 7, 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms are an agreement between you and YK TECH INC, Denver, Colorado, United States ("we", "us"). They govern SqueezeReel at squeezereel.com: uploading video files, compressing them, checking the results, and downloading them, together with the accounts and credits that go with it (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these Terms and the policies linked at the bottom of every page.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you can bind it. Signing in uses a one-time email code or Google. Keep your access secure and tell us promptly about unauthorized use.

3. Your files and permissions

You keep ownership of every file you upload and every result we return. You give us a limited license to store, copy and process your files only as needed to run the Service for you, to keep it secure, and to support you.

You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to upload each file and have it processed, including any consent from people who appear in it.

4. What the Service does, and what it does not promise

Compression is lossy except where a job states otherwise. Before a result is offered for download we run automated checks against your original. Which checks run depends on the job type: for example duration and first frame for general compression, frame count and audio layout for editing proxies, and a quality floor and decode test for archives. The checks listed on your result are the ones that ran.

The checks reduce risk; they do not guarantee that a result is right for your purpose. Keep your original until you have opened the result in the software you use it in. Do not delete source footage on the strength of an archive result alone.

Some files cannot be processed. When that happens we tell you, we record the file type so we can improve, and you are not charged.

5. Free allowance and limits

Without an account you can process up to 3 files a day, each up to 1 GB. With a verified email you can process up to 10 files a day, each up to 5 GB. Beyond the free allowance, files use credits. We may change these limits, and we may limit use that looks abusive. Limits shown on the pricing page and in the tool are the ones that apply.

6. Prices, purchases and credits

Credit packs are one-time purchases in US dollars. Checkout shows the provider, the amount and any applicable tax before you pay. For purchases made through our online checkout, a third-party payment provider acts as merchant of record, the seller of record for the transaction. Its name appears on your payment statement and on the receipt it sends you. We remain responsible for providing the Service and for support.

One credit covers one gigabyte of source video, rounded up per file, with a minimum of one credit per file. Credits are a limited, revocable right to use the Service. They are not money, stored value, a deposit or an investment, have no cash value, cannot be transferred or resold, and cannot be used in other products. Credits you buy do not expire except as disclosed at purchase, or as needed to address fraud, refunds, chargebacks or law. Credits spent on a file that fails or is unsupported are returned automatically.

Paid packs are not open yet. Until they open, you can join the notification list on the pricing page.

7. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and the Copyright Policy. The Service, its software and its branding belong to us and our licensors. Except for the rights stated here, we grant you no rights in them.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or end features. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will post the new version with a new effective date and, for changes that reduce your rights, give reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or footage.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or other people.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Questions: support@squeezereel.com.
